Hey GC.
Remember how I said I wasn't going to able to talk to you for four-ish days?
Technically it is a half-right answer because I'm typing stuff on my dad's old Surface RT. Currently I'm in San Francisco of California at the moment, sitting in a hotel at second floor. Unfortunately this means I cannot talk to you guys live in Discord.

So far, the trip is half of a disaster because of a transmission problem in my family's minivan stuck in limp mode, meaning basically trying to go over 50 mph will damage the transmission. And after asking my dad to take the plane instead because it's cheaper for a domestic flight than some random automatic transmission that is made out of glass and costs like gold.

TL:DR At San Francisco for 3-4 days. And a ton of transmission failures.

Day 2:
Currently in a pretty good and bad time right now. Visited some really food-related places like Ghirardelli chocolate, Chinatown, and of course Japantown as well via Benihana, a very fancy Japanese grill with teppenyaki chefs doing crazy stuff over a heated piece of metal and serving food with style.

And at the same time we're even more screwed because several mobile mechanics checked out the transmission problems and it has a ton of problems that no mechanic wants to solve because it's a stupid FCA automatic transmission, and most people would dare not to fix it or even replace it since they're so fragile as badly-made glass.

Unfortunately, the car can't be sold either because the physical ownership paper cannot be found at the moment, meaning I have to go through the car for another 500 miles.... at 50 miles an hour. And plane tickets went from 200 for a round-trip to 320+ USD for a one-way. GG 4th of July.

I did take a bunch of pictures... will show once I can back to some computer where I can talk on Discord.

Day 3 + 4:
I wish Day 3 went way better because there was so much messes to deal with despite having a beast dinner. So much wind, nostalgia, and pictures. I felt like most of the day was a bit over-hogged by my dad wanting to take family photos everywhere (I'm not comfortable having me in a photo for the most part.)

I'm sitting my last night at the hotel and I'm ready to be gone for a while. San Francisco is an absolute mess of a place compared to what it was last time I was here. Even more graffiti, cops, and a ton of homeless people exceeding Seattle. I thought Seattle was pretty damn dirty, but California told them, hold my beer...

Why did I add day 4? I won't be able to access wifi for approximately for 18-28 hours due to the travel time by car from CA to WA. Guess I'll see you guys on Monday. Thought I was taking a plane...

I'll show pictures on Tuesday or Wednesday in the morning by forums and Discord.

Day 4:
Remember I said about coming back to Washington by car? Scratch that. Can we get a big F for my family's minivan? It blew its transmission and now we have to get a new car. So this meant that I had to stay at a hotel for another day... and then take a flight back to Sea-Tac. I had to help my dad who spoke broken english by calling the insurance company, tow truck, and all sorts of things to get the car to the hotel and have it towed later on as well.

Doesn't stop there! My family has to take buy tickets in a weird fashion because of prices between Sunday and Monday! My dad has to go to work so he ended up getting a ticket that leaves at 6 in the morning (Luckily he already made it to Washington rather really quickly surprisingly.) and the rest (including myself) has to wait until 5.... or was it? Delta gave us the biggest middle finger by getting a delay of 3 hours. That's damn amazing considering I have to wait until the evening to get back, upload pictures, and clean up crap from the disaster of a vacation in San Francisco.... More like San Frowncisco hahaha.

Moral of the Vacation: Don't cheap out or you'll suffer like me.

TL:DR Dad thought it was a good idea to go to California in a car with a junky transmission that breaks faster than GunColony's servers and realized going by plane was a hella lot cheaper.

My dad was so desparate to take pictures to the point where we drove the minivan with the junk transmission up on San FROWNcisco hills that are nearly 45 degrees steep. Poor A194 transmission.
